Another week, another argument between NFL coaches

The NFL coaching fraternity has not looked very friendly in the last few weeks. After a spat developed between Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz after last week’s 49ers-Lions game, Raiders coach Hue Jackson and Chiefs boss Todd Haley had their own moment following a 28-0 Kansas City win Sunday. (See the video here.)

Haley and Jackson shook hands after the game, but Jackson had more to say to Haley, who was not interested in listening. Jackson waved his finger in Haley’s direction, but Haley ignored him and walked away. Neither Haley nor Jackson would comment on specifics about the argument after the game.

The postgame frostiness was not the first time Haley did not get along with a coach following a game. In November 2010, Haley refused to shake then-Broncos coach Josh McDaniels‘ hand after the Broncos dismantled the Chiefs, 49-29.

This August, Haley was involved in a disagreement with Ravens coach John Harbaugh when Baltimore ran for a touchdown in the closing seconds of a preseason game that already was out of reach. Harbaugh said he was just trying to get his backup players some experience since it was preseason. Haley saw it as poor sportsmanship and had a few words for Harbaugh as they left the field after the game.
